Rock, Blues &
Redcoats
Every
year, over the last weekend in January, in that post-Christmas
malaise - a remarkable music festival takes place at Butlins,
Skegness in Lincolnshire.
Fast gaining an impressive reputation on the music lovers
festival circuit and as hotly anticipated by the artists as the
fans (who regularly travel from the length and breadth of the
UK), the weekend has hosted an incredible range of some of Rock
and Blues' most exciting and influential artists, alongside
fiery 'new blood', too.
2010 performers included guitar legend and one-time Rolling
Stone, Mick Taylor, Maggie Bell and Dave Kelly, The Blues Band,
Stan Webb & Chicken Shack whilst on the rock stage, Nazareth,
Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash and Praying
Mantis.
