(All our playlists
will include GMT and related tracks)

GMT are one
of the Ten for 10 bands selected by Get Ready to ROCK! for
additional promotion in 2010.
GMT
GMT, or
Guy McCoy Tormé, are ROBIN GUY, JOHN McCOY and BERNIE TORME and
formed in 2006.
John McCoy
takes up the story..."I was writing songs with Bernie and we
were jamming occasionally and we were asked if we fancied
helping out by playing at a charity gig for Clive Burr’s M.S,
we’ve both known Clive a long long time so of course we said
yes...
Robin Guy was working with Bernie and Alex Kane (Antiproduct)
and knew some of Bernie’s stuff so seemed the obvious
choice...we had a quick rehearsal and jammed our way through the
gig, which went down very well and we were asked if we would
play at a festival in Cambridgeshire the next month, we had
another rehearsal and played to a few thousand bikers between
Wishbone Ash and Saxon, it went really well again and we
collectively realised we had something very special..."

Bernie
Torme is perhaps best known for briefly replacing Randy
Rhoads after his tragic death, on tour with Ozzy Osbourne and
Blizzard Of Ozz in 1982. He also played guitar with Gillan
in the late seventies/early eighties.

Bassist
John McCoy was also with Bernie in Gillan and has lent his
songwriting, musicianship and production talents to countless
albums including his own Mammoth and solo projects. He
also has the meritorious distinction of being the only bass
player that Atomic Rooster ever had.

Drummer
Robin Guy completes this power triumvirate and has played
with Bruce Dickinson, Faith No More and Adam Ant amongst
others.
GMT have
released two albums, Bitter And Twisted in 2006 and Evil Twin in
2008 and a new album is scheduled for 2010.
