Leaf Hound is one of the Ten for 10 artists selected by Get Ready to ROCK! for additional promotion in 2010.

LEAF HOUND

A vinyl copy of their debut album, 1971's 'Growers of Mushroom', may set you back over £4000 but Leaf Hound have never been eclipsed by the cult status of that legendary album.  The band was reformed by vocalist Pete French in 2004 and since that time they have gigged regularly, releasing 'Unleashed' to critical acclaim in 2007.

Vocalist Pete French has had an interesting career, including a stint with Atomic Rooster ('In The Hearing Of', 1972) and Cactus ('Ot 'n Sweaty', 1972).  He also recorded a solo album 'Ducks In Flight' (1978) with contributions from Micky Moody (Whitesnake), Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy) and Kenney Jones (The Who, Faces).

Leaf Hound continue to tour and played the Hawkfest, Isle of Wight in August 2010.
